Bio for Michael Brown and Charles McGuffog
Michael Brown and Charles McGuffog were successful traders on the floor of the New York Mercantile Exchange for over twenty years. There they traded future contracts for crude oil, heating oil, unleaded gas and natural gas. During their time on the trading floor, they served as market makers, providing liquidity to the market. Additionally, they managed and traded their own positions, establishing themselves as prominent floor traders.
Moving off the floor, their individual trading styles and risk management experience has provided the foundation that has formed the successful proprietary trading company that Merc Partners is today.
